I hired Overhead Door to replace the bottom seals on both of my 14-year-old garage doors, thinking the original installer would be the best choice for the job. Unfortunately, that turned out to be a mistake. Instead of using the existing galvanized steel retainers—which were still in good shape—the technician replaced them with plastic ones, without discussing the change beforehand. Worse, he drilled new holes at inconsistent intervals, using a different number of screws on each door. The result is a poorly finished job that looks careless and unprofessional. To make matters worse, several long screws were left exposed on the inside of the doors, posing a potential safety hazard. While the seals may function for now, the overall workmanship was disappointing and not worth the $250 I paid. Frankly, I regret not doing it myself. Based on this experience, I wouldn’t recommend Overhead Door for routine maintenance work.

Wow- these guys installed a new motor for a garage door a little over a year ago. They were fair-priced and efficient. Fast forward our door wasn't closing all the way and a team came out to take a look. A spring had too much tension, they applied some lubricant and it's good as new. They treated like a warranty. I appreciate so much their quality customer service. Will use them again if needed and will definitely recommend to others.

My home still had the original Overhead Door installed by the builder (16+ years ago). The original homeowner had selected a less expensive, plain white door with no windows or insulation. The garage was pretty cold in the winter and heated up in summer too. I called Overhead Door out for routine maintenance about a year ago, and asked their tech Dale about replacing it. He explained their process and gave me a catalog to see some of the available styles and colors. I was ready to upgrade a few weeks ago and their sales rep Justin came by to start the process. The door arrived and we set an install date, and this week a gorgeous, insulated, steel-backed door was installed. Everything was replaced down to the rails, and it has a wi-fi capable opener that's so much quieter it's amazing. The door really enhances the outside appearance of my home too. I didn't write down the install tech's names, but they were courteous, very efficient, and left the work area tidy and clean. I would recommend Overhead Door of Lexington for your home or business if you have any garage door maintenance, repair, or replacement needs.
