Harry from Overhead Garage Door Pros arrived at the agreed-upon time, quickly assessed the condition of my garage door and motor, provided a fair and reasonable quote, and then completed the work efficiently and completely in less than 45 min. He explained, demonstrated, and showed me everything that he did to maintain the system and how to solve minor issues such as safety sensor failure. He showed me how to open and close the door in an emergency situation and how to tell if the lock is engaged. No one has ever showed me those things before and while many might think those things are not a big deal, it was a extremely helpful to me. Excellent customer service. This review is long overdue but Smith is WONDERFUL and so accommodating. Overhead Pro was referred to us by a friend after our garage cables broke overnight and needed a fix quickly. Smith answered the phone late at night and came the next morning (7:45 AM), price was more than reasonable and fixed everything and then some for us to get our garage back up and running. 3 months or so later I needed him again cause I hit my garage and needed a whole new door... Oops. Again, Smith was quick to come out and quote, came with a reasonable price and his installer (Juan) who was also so kind and communicative sending me after pics, installed the door quickly and was perfect match without needing paint. I would highly recommend Overhead Pro and will use them in the future when needed!

I paid $2000 to have them balance my door and better secure my opener. I ended up needing to hire someone else to come fix their mistakes. When they came, the garage would open but the header bracket mount seemed insecure. They came, moved the header bracket, and suggested I get new springs installed. They installed the springs and left. The header bracket still seemed poorly secured (it moved during operation), but I trusted them as experts and didn't worry about it... Until the garage door failed to open because the bracket and rail were moving so much, caused partially by how imbalanced the door was and how poorly secured the header bracket was. I called and asked them to send someone to repair it, asking if they could do it for free since it was their fault. Initially they agreed, but then via phone their technician said they would have to charge me. I called the office again, who told me I wouldn't have to pay. Then another technician called me and said I would be charged for the job. After a few confusing days of this (each day being told someone would come out to fix this), they stopped picking up my calls. No one came out to fix it. I called another company to come fix it. They told me the springs installed were wrong for my door. He installed new springs, replaced a bunch of other old or incorrect parts for the balancing system, and better secured the header bracket, all for less than Overhead Doors Pro charged me. The door is working perfectly now, no thanks to this company. I've been trying to contact them to get a refund or to return the springs they installed. They won't return my calls. I have a complaint pending with the Better Business Bureau, and may have to seek legal action. Picture is the way they "secured" the header bracket -- note the big gap between the board and the wall, the board has cracked under the pressure of the imbalanced door, and the top bolt is barely in. This is the shoddy workmanship they do.
