Making the decision to list "for sale by owner" and not using a realtor was tough, however I made the right decision and couldn't be any happier. We were able to sell not only without a sellers agent, but also a buyers agent saving my family and I A LOT of money in commissions. I would do it all over again should I have the opportunity and I don't have any regrets whatsoever. Highly recommend trying. Even if its for the first 30-45 days to test the market and get feedback. For the price, it cant hurt to try. You can always fall back to hiring a realtor should you feel the need to.
