Quality food, but not for the price. Ordered a small veggie pizza, asked for eggplant on it, couldn’t taste or see the eggplant for the extra cost, which started at $12.95 for a small pizza. Ordered chicken wings (18) and given one of 2 each sauce. I find it hard to believe they would give the same amount of sauce for a small order.I asked for extra sweet and sour and honey mustard sauce. The sweet n sour were the tiny cups (would barely be useful for 2 wings. They charged $2.25 for an extra of each sauce. Which p—s-Ed me off to initiated this review. I was livid. A small pizza and wings $43.36, included was a $2 delivery charge which I get if I were cheap but left him $51. I’m still pis—sed so much at the cost of extra sauce that u could barely get a tablespoon out of at $2.25 each. The guy on the phone was accurate, and the deliver/driverwere great. Fast and friendly without wasting anyone ones time. But it k wasn’t so much better than the other local pizza shops for the “extra” prices slipped in there. I don’t know if the extra sauce or delivery charge are listed on the website menu. Bug over the phone I think they should mention each sauce at ; $.2/eaxgh. $5 is $5 these days. Not impressed enough by the typical Greek Izzy, etc., to order again, FyI-!other questions not reject do to delivery.
This is the best pizza shop in the area, and one of the best pizza shops that I’ve been in a very long time. There is nothing that I have tried that has not met my expectations. Everything is so fresh, the pizza it’s always warm, not overly sauced just enough cheese, not stingy on the toppings not sale like Freshway. Everything is just phenomenal. The staff is always super friendly, I don’t know if the bald guy is the owner, but wow, he is super nice, to me. Customer service is super important. I also love that their dessert menu is much more than baklava, chocolate cake and cheesecake ,and the fact that they sell ice cream year-round got me sold. Nine out of 10 times people only leave reviews when they have a bad experience, very few people leave good reviews, I feel that Papa flames deserves them. Keep up the great work guys. I live in Leicester, but I rather much drive down to Stafford Street than to go to my local pizza shop where I know that if I eat there, we all end up sick.
first visit was great. We got a small chicken Parmesan and meatball Parmesan calzones, both were delicious. Sad to say our second visit was a totally different experience. The calzone was cut differently and the chicken was terrible, frozen processed chicken patty cut into cubes. We also ordered the JoJo's which were good but paid for a "side" of sour cream that was a small plastic tube and placed inside the box on top of the piping hot JoJo's... not cool. disappointed, thought we found a good place.
