I recently hosted my stepdad’s Celebration of Life at Parks and Rec Gastropub in Forest Glade, Windsor, and I cannot recommend this venue enough. When I began searching for a location, I was looking for something relaxed, semi-private, and sporty — a setting that felt less formal and less somber. Parks and Rec was the perfect choice. From the very beginning, the General Manager, Michel, was fantastic. He shared his cell number at the inquiry stage, promptly answered all of my questions, and even worked with the chef to accommodate a special menu item we requested. His attention to detail and care really set the tone. On the day of the event, the buffet was beautifully presented, and the room was set up just right. The two staff members assisting us went above and beyond, quickly bringing out extra tables when needed. The chef even came out personally to check in with us and ensure the food and service timing were exactly what we wanted. The bartenders were wonderful as well — especially Deanna, who is truly a gem in the food and beverage industry. She checked in regularly with us as hosts, treated every guest with warmth and professionalism, and even charmed my three-year-old, who was busy treating the place like her personal playground. Thanks to the hospitality and charm of the Parks and Rec team, we had the perfect Celebration of Life. Our family gathered together, enjoyed great food and drinks, and shared memories — all topped off with a Lions win! Thank you, Parks and Rec, for making such an important day so memorable. We will always recommend to friends and family for events, or even just to dine.

Michel and team helped us to host our wedding part there. We can't stress how helpful, patient and flexible they were with us. The food, the service, and the atmosphere was exactly what we had in mind. We'd highly recommend them for any type of event.

We recently held a shower in the Pavillion room at Parks & Rec. There are several amazing things about Parks, Michel, and his team. First, the booking process was simple and they were very accommodating to what we needed (open house & appetizer food). Michel was understanding of what we wanted to do and make it happen. Second (day of).. On the day, you have the room from open to close, which is great and reasonably priced. The appetizers were all well received from our guests. The staff were also very friendly and rose to the challenge whenever we needed something to take care of. I highly recommend this space for anyone looking to host a shower, birthday party, etc.

Michel and his team went above and beyond to ensure everything ran smoothly and were incredibly accommodating. The food was delicious, and the service was exceptional.
