I cannot say enough good things about Sam, the leasing manager. We were delayed getting into 39 Dobbin Stree but she was phenomenal to deal with. She was great at keeping us updated, negotiated us getting to store some stuff there even though we couldn't stay there and took care of all the arrangements for a place to stay during the delay. She was always extremely friendly and I don't know what I would've done without her during this whole process. She is a fantastic addition to the Peace of Mind Management team!

He even went above and beyond by taking care of something I hadn’t mentioned, which I really appreciated. Changed my rating from 5 to 2 stars. We've been renting under this management company for more than two years now. While there have been some positives early on, we've encountered ongoing issues that have made the experience challenging at times. In our first apartment, we noticed the heating system didn't warm the unit effectively, and we later discovered mold in both bedrooms. We were informed that the repair would take several months and were asked to move out. We inquired about a discounted unit or alternative support during that time, but unfortunately, that wasn't offered. We decided to stay with the same management and moved into a different unit in Uptown. Not long after moving in, we experienced a persistent mouse problem. It took more than two months to get a response, and although we were told a professional pest control company would address the issue, someone was sent to seal holes we had already attempted to fix ourselves. We also requested some form of rent relief due to the extended nature of the issue, but didn't receive a follow-up. The approach felt more reactive than proactive, and we felt dismissed at some point. We understand this is a more affordable unit, but regardless of price, basic health and safety standards like mold prevention and pest control are essential. I hope the management takes steps to improve responsiveness and support for tenants facing these serious types of issues.
