4.5/5 The seafood is great and the atmosphere is chill. Great place for after work drinks or a casual date! The seafood tower is good value on Tuesdays ($70). We tried the calamari which had a bit of an Asian twist. The Lobster Sliders, the Mussels, and the Black Cod hit the spot. The textures and flavours were harmonious. Yumm! The seafood is very fresh here. Gratuity is an automatic 18% (before tax) which we didn’t mind as we didn’t have to think about it. Service is rather slow and could be improved, but the servers are pleasant. We’ll be back!

We've been meaning to go to the Pearl Diver for quite literally 5 years ever since we moved into the St. Lawrence Market neighborhood. After going for the first time, I only wished we went sooner. We went on a Thursday night in August, and were greated by the bustling atmosphere of a full restaurant. We went for the seafood tower and a few other dishes, including a cozy bowl of chowder, scallops, and two desserts. Being from the Maritimes, the Pearl Diver's offerings are a taste from home, and I'm looking forward to going back soon (and not in 5 years' time).

The sea bream was great. The calamari was overcooked and a bit tough and rubbery, I think it hadn't been marinated. The beer was fresh. The cocktail was a bit sweet, but it was good. We were very pleased with the service, thank you.

Thank you for accommodating our reservation due to traffic. The food, service and atmosphere made traffic worth it. I hope to go back for the $100 oysters 🦪 as it was my first time having fresh oysters 🤣 cheers
