I’ve taken my 2009 Volvo V-7 to Peter’s for yearly routine service, and it’s always been fine, but I was truly impressed with their mechanics when my car developed a problem in early summer, 2025. “Check Engine Now” the dash light read, and, boy, was it necessary. After a quick inspection, Peter’s mechanic showed me the problem: a huge mound of gray sawdust-like matter covered part of the engine. It was a rat’s nest, and rats had begun chewing through engine wires. I wondered if the engine (and my aged Volvo) could even be saved. An hour later, the mechanic had cleaned off the nest, replaced all the damaged wires, and told me the car was ready to go for thousands and thousands of future miles. And the repair cost was very modest. So, for routine service or weirdly unexpected car problems, I’d strongly recommend Peter’s.
