Pharmasave Kashyap's

Was at Cancast this weekend in Peterborough and had a tooth ache so I went to Pharmasave as that is where I go when I'm at home, it was Saturday afternoon and saw a Doctor that was really new to Canada (3 weeks) got 2 prescriptions an antibiotic and one to help with inflammation, excellent service, helped me make it through the weekend. This pharmacy functions so poorly it's hard to believe at least a few of the employees aren't lazy. I had so many bad experiences here: • They will not prepare prescriptions in advance in the day you need to pick it up, ever. You have to call the morning you need to pick it up and then it takes them hours to fill. So picking up a prescription at 9:30-11am will not be an option. • They wouldn't call me back if they couldn't fill a prescription for any reason. We'd have to find out when we got there. They wouldn't fax a doctor unless explicitly telling them. They faxed the wrong doctor after I switched multiple times. • Closed on Truth & Reconciliation Day without warning or even putting up a sign on the door or notifying digitally/on the phone. No other businesses were doing this and it was a Monday, they're already closed all day Sunday. • Their hours are short and their service doesn't make up for it, even though there's no shortage of staff. Switched to Sobeys.

I cannot and will not give a good review to this drug store the customer service here is terrible. My senior father had an appointment booked with a specialist whom worked out if this location and when he arrived for his appointment he was told that they no longer worked out of that location. My father is not someone who would speak to anyone in any way that would deserve mistreatment t disrespect yet that's exactly what they did to him. After asking why someone had not taken the time to tell patients that their appointments were cancelled. The answer he received was that they had nothing to do with the specialist and that my father needed to leave the store as his business was not appreciated. Being the good person he is he simply complied and left. At no point should they have ever treated anyone this way without just cause. My father treats everyone he meets with respect and would expect that he would receive the same from others. Especially ower operators of a business. I am extremely disappointed and would not recommend visiting their location.
