I'm honestly pretty shocked at the reviews here, as I've been going to this location get my prescriptions filled for the last 5+ years and have only had great experiences. I refill prescriptions via the automated phone service, receive an automated phone call that the prescription has been filled, and there is hardly ever a line when picking it up (mind you I usually go in the mornings). No problems! Also when booking the seasonal vaccinations you can use the Rexall website to view available time slots. The pharmacists are always pleasant and efficient. I'm going to go out on a limb and say that similar to doctor's offices, folks only leave a review on a pharmacy if they have something negative to say 🤷‍♂️. I have been to the Shoppers at Westgate to accompany others picking up their prescriptions and can confirm that the wait time there is painfulllllll. Thanks Rexall!

Hours suck. Terrible service. Occasional friendly staff member but not common. Never have meds in stock. Takes a week to fill prescription and won’t notify you when it’s ready, then you go to pick it up and it’s lost so they have to make a new bottle… which they don’t have enough pills and you’ll have to return anyways. Honestly after 2 years and endless hours on hold when I call, I’m switching to shoppers

The pharmacists will stand around chatting with each other instead of serving you, and when they finally DO walk over to you, they will glare at you with a "Why are you bothering me?" vibe. And then they'll tell you your prescription hasn't been faxed to them, even though you got a call from their phone number a few hours earlier telling you they just received the fax. And apparently their phone is one-way: they can make calls with it, but they never answer it. It just rings for half an hour and then they hang up on you. And the ringing seems to only be on the caller's end; I tested this by calling their number while standing right in front of them, and there was no ringing sound coming from the pharmacy. And no, I didn't have the wrong number; I pressed "call" on the Google Maps page for Carlingwood Rexall. Save yourself the time and stay as far away from this pharmacy as possible.

Anyone leaving a bad review must have gone to Shoppers at Westgate. Because at Shoppers, THEY are horribly slow and unorganized. But not Rexall. Rexall was fast and on point. I was in and out in 10 seconds with my prescription. I even had to go back in because I forgot to ask something. They were clear with the answer, and seemed happy to help. I'm soo happy I switched to Rexall from Shoppers. Rexall has been a million times better.
