Terrible, DO NOT GET PASSPORT PICTURES FROM HERE! My parents got passport pictures from here in Feb. We recently got notification from the government that the pictures were not acceptable due to poor quality. I also understand that nothing can be done because it is well beyond 30 days. However what made the experience terrible is when I spoke with their supervisor on duty Aug 8 at 10:40am (I believe the name is Glenna) they were unapologetic and defensive. She kept mentioning that because it is beyond 30 days that they cannot due anything. According to her they get an updated policy every day from the Government on how the pictures should be and yet they allowed for a poor quality picture to be sold. It screwed us out of money for a digital copy and 6 months of waiting for a response from the government, and now our application will be in the back of the queue once we resubmit better pictures. THEY SHOULD NOT OFFER THIS SERVICE when no-one is properly trained to take these pictures and that they will not accept their fault when it is clearly their fault for selling a photo that is not up to standards. The picture policy set from the government may change from time to time but not enough to be deemed a poor quality photo. At the end she just told me she can't spend any more time with me on the phone because other customers are waiting, and that I am repeating the same thing over and over. I was on the phone with her for less than 4 minutes. She did not apologize for the unacceptable service provided, she did not accept their fault, and even when I told her at the end that as a customer that got screwed out of money and time that I'm frustrated at the situation and not at her she just told me they can't do anything because it's beyond 30 days. Extremely poor customer service, extremely poor passport picture service, terrible experience and unacceptable behaviour from a supervisor. No rude words were said or shouting was done from my part, but I was frustrated. All she needed to say was "I'm sorry and unfortunately it's beyond 30 days we cannot do anything." There was no apology, no ownership of their mistake. That's all it takes to calm a customer down. Listen, acknowledge, and then present the policy. This is basic supervisor training.

Extremely disappointing experience at the perfume section of Shoppers Drug Mart. When we mentioned that we already own a particular fragrance, the representative responded with, “Are you sure?”—in a condescending tone, making us feel small and uncomfortable. She was hesitant to show testers and unwilling to offer any real assistance. Throughout the visit, her attitude was pushy and sarcastic. While we were simply browsing, she abruptly asked, “What do you need?” in a way that felt dismissive—almost like we weren’t welcome or didn’t know what we were doing. The entire interaction felt like we were being racially profiled, which was both hurtful and unacceptable. To make matters worse, we also noticed expired foundation in the cosmetics section—very concerning for a place that sells personal care products. We came in ready to spend around $300, but after that treatment, we didn’t feel like spending even $3. Thankfully, we later went to Sephora and received outstanding customer service—what a contrast. Shoppers Drug Mart really needs to address this kind of behavior if they care about customer experience and inclusivity.

Cosmetics cashier’s name was Manpreet. She was not trained in making refunds for purchases made online. Another young man (Indian ethnicity) also tried but did not know how. They tried to scan every barcode on the receipt. Then they admitted they just didn’t know how to return my item. I wasted over 10 minutes at that counter for nothing.

I went to go drop off a package at Canada Post in this Shoppers and was the service person was so rude!! She was happily chatting with the man before me, and when it came to my turn, was rudely talking to me. Then told me to step aside to help the next customer cause I was taking more then 3 seconds to find my QR code. Then started friendly chatting with the next customer again. She did not help me at all and the change of attitude was very obvious. She made it seem like I was disturbing her when I was asking questions about the returns through Canada Post. I used to support CP but no longer. They have the worst customer service all the time. I hope their union fails.
