Sarah CrevelingI booked an appointment with Heidi for a blowout and curl at 10am the day of my sister’s wedding. The salon opened at 10, so my appointment didn’t really begin until closer to 10:15 as staff was not even arriving until about 10am. Heidi washed my hair and while she was drying it she asked me what I wanted done. I said I booked a blow out and curl. She said they only had me booked for a blow out. I told her I booked a curl as well, since I am in from out of town for a wedding and I didn’t pack anything to do my own hair since I had booked the appointment planning for her to do it. She said she didn’t have time to do it and her next client was already there (10 minutes early). I left the salon in tears because I was so frustrated and upset. I was charged $40, and after I left I checked their prices on their website. It was $30+ for a blow out and $10 for a curl. I don’t know why I would have been up charged for a blow out, so it seems like I was charged for the curl that “wasn’t booked” and that I DID NOT receive. 10/17: I did call and request a blow AND curl so it’s obvious that there was a miscommunication along the way. My hair is only down to my collarbone…. And yes the stylist asked the other stylist and I appreciate that she did that because I asked her to when I was crying in the chair. I have nothing to gain by lying about this situation, I only wrote this review to share my experience.
Regina OomsThe service was okay they did fit me in short notice which I appreciate and all I needed was a haircut but when it was done I noticed it wasn’t even and my layers were all over the place. I could tell the stylist I had is new and I’m not one to write reviews but I had to cut it myself later a little just to get it even especially my face framing layers.
Kim KanefkeRaquel and the ladies took great care of me. There was a lot to be done as my hair was a mess and she patiently worked with me. She listened to my concerns and came up with a plan to address them all. I left with a beautiful new color and highlights as well as a great cut and style! I feel like a new woman and have gotten tons of compliments. The salon is clean and well stocked. The other stylists were friendly as well. The pricing was fair and reasonable as well
