Customer experiences
Three months ago on August 18th, I was struck by a vehicle while biking. I hit the ground hard. I was rushed in an ambulance to Lahey trauma center in Burlington in excruciating pain where they found I broke my pelvis. I was in a wheelchair and crutches in excruciating pain. A few weeks after the accident, I chose my PT to be at Professional Physical Therapy on Boston Avenue in Medford. i’m so happy I did! they have plenty of free parking. From the moment I m my walked into the door on I felt a positive vibe. The receptionist was extremely accommodating booking my sessions. The interaction amongst Pete, Cassie and the entire staff are second to none. Everyone keeps an eye on you so you don’t hurt yourself and they cheer you on when you progress. I’ve also been mirroring the exercises at the gym on my days off and back to being in great shape. My core is stronger than its been in years thanks to the outstanding coaching at Professional Physical Therapy! The place is extremely well-run and maintained. All surfaces are wiped down and sanitized between each exercise. The music is great too! Today, 11 weeks after my accident, I had a follow up visit this afternoon with the chief orthaepedic surgeon at one of the best hospitals in Boston. After 16 sessions at professional physical therapy (8 weeks twice a week) my doctors are very pleased with my progress! I’m ahead of the healing curve. I’m still in a bit of pain and discomfort, but that’s normal for the course of a healing Pelvis. I just want to extend my gratitude to Professional Physical Therapy in Medford for the outstanding work that they do. I highly recommend this facility!
Professional PT Medford is abosultely, hands downe the best! Dr. Pete Barone is my PT and he is excellent. He really listened to my issues and was able to come up with therapy plan that actually works. He is knowledeable, highly recommened, experienced and has a warm and funny sense of humor that makes the patients feel comfortable and even laugh a little during the session even through paine :-) . And there is plenty of parking, which is always a plus! I also have to say that in addition to Pete, the entire team works like a well-oiled machine. Everyone helps and work together to make the experience for the patient go above and beyond. I don't know how they do it but they all just seem to know exactly wht the other needs and can multi-task extraordinarily well. So, a shout out (and hope I didn't forget anyone): Cassie, Corey, Sydney, Aakash, and the virtual patient care team who are also prompt and so friendly - Vanessa, Guissepph, and Chaylie! I came to Prof PT for my neck, spine issues causing numbness and pain that was very painful. After 4 months of failed progress at another PT place, I was skeptical that it would work but I agreed to try again as Pete was highly recommended by my doctor. After only weeks of PT (twice a week) the numbness going down my arms into my fingers, along with the pain, started to diminish. I actually enjoy going to my appointments because the techniques and exercises are completely different than any other place. they not only work on the actual pain of the body but also the things I was doing wrong (seating position for work chair, tech neck -looking down all the time at the phone, sleeping positin, pillows to use) It's a package deal coming here and I have experienced significant improvement! Lastly, they are like a family that actually like eachother! :-) They all are always happy, all have high energy, have stories to share, make eachother laugh, which in turns makes the patients laugh too! It's really like no other experience I have ever had. I mean, if I needed a job, I would want to work there! Thank you al for making my experience such a great one! If you need PT, come here, you won't be disappointed!
Cassie and Pete are both warm, welcoming and most importantly extremely knowledgeable Physical Therapists! As someone who had never been to PT, this was a great first experience and set a high bar. Cassie worked with my post ACL surgery, her bubbly and fun nature made even tough exercises manageable and even enjoyable. I am happy to be back to running to be cleared for skiing!
I can’t say enough good things about Professional Physical Therapy. From the moment I walked in, I felt cared for—not just as a patient, but as a person. The therapists took the time to really understand my pain, my goals, and my progress every step of the way. They were patient, encouraging, and incredibly knowledgeable. Every visit felt like a step toward getting my life back. The staff is warm, the clinic is spotless, and the energy is always positive. I’m so grateful for their compassion and dedication—it made all the difference in my recovery. Truly a five-star experience.
