Found out that this deli stocks Mere Trout Smørgel, and after seeing the reviews we thought we would make a trip! As well as the Smørgel, we bought some other fish pate, flatbread, ham, a scotch egg, a billionaires shortbread and it was all delicious! Plenty of produce and friendly service, worth a visit!

Called in for coffee and a bite to eat. Such a friendly place with a warm, welcoming atmosphere.Some great quality produce on offer too. Great food and wonderful coffee. We will definitely call again when we next visit.

Wine travel

A truly fabulous shop with the best coffee around! I have the other reviews and I think some people are confusing the wine shop with the Deli which are now separated but use to be in the same shop. On busy days there is a little more wait time than usual with all the Covid regulations being adhered to just like any other venue. But this one is really worth any wait (which is not that long anyway and very dependant on time/day - in reference to a previous review - I don't think 5/10 min is excessive, just chill out, that's what the countryside is all about! Enjoy! ;). Staff are lovely and the food and deli products are fab. An absolute gem with a lovely wine shop just opposite. What a gorgeous town!

What great place. I am such a cheese lover and was in img element to see their huge range of cheeses But Oh my word the Gorgonzola is the best I’ve ever had. I wish I’d bought more to take back home to Leicestershire. It’s that good I’d drive the 4 hours just for the Gorgonzola. The staff were so lovely and friendly.
