» Customer Experiences:
Everyone that works there is very friendly and knowledgeable. They made me feel comfortable every step of the treatment and helped me out so much. If you need pelvic PT, I would definitely recommend seeing them !
I've seen Amanda Watson for PT while pregnant and postpartum. She helped prepare me physically and mentally for birth and recovery. I think some of the success I had in labor and delivery was due to the physical prep and support I received at Progress, and I'm so glad that I've been able to continue postpartum. Dr. Watson's care has really helped my recovery and eased my anxieties about my postpartum experiences. I frequently recommend her and Progress to friends!
I would not recommend progress physical therapy in Midlothian to treat male clients. I was a client there for 11 months totaling 50 sessions. I went there with 2 different doctor referrals. One for lower back pain and one for bladder issues. While there was improvement in my bladder issues there was little improvement in my lower back. During the 11 months I was treated by 3 different therapists, this was due to my insurance requiring I see a DPT once ever 30 days. Most of my sessions were with a PTA, (CM). This therapist was very knowledgeable, patient, helpful and friendly until the insurance ran out. I felt that there was insufficient communication amongst the therapists about my progress and necessary therapy, including with my referring physicians. After being notified of the abrupt termination of my therapy due to either plateau in my progress or insurance limitations, I requested all of my medical records including therapists notes. I received 5 reports out of 50 visits. At my discharge visit with DPT (AW) I had to request the missing daily notes. After reviewing these it confirms that the therapist were not accurately tracking my progress. The goals that were established in the beginning were unchanged for 10 months, then suddenly 4 goals were marked as met. Overall I feel that this facility has limited knowledge, skills and abilities for treating males, and their communication and documentation is insufficient. I personally feel that the therapists (AW) and (CM) were more concerned with the money rather than my progress.
