I would say no stars. Every time I go in here these girls are snotty and rude, they quoted me at an hour because my buy was a little on the larger side. No big deal, waited in store and saw people bringing baskets and they were doing before mibe because they were only one basket. I live an hour away from here, I waited in the store for my buy two and a half hours, I stepped out for 5 minutes and they text me saying they had completed my buy. When I stepped outside they had just started going through the first basket, I had six baskets and bought two items for $5. And when I asked if they went through everything they were super snotty told me I could take my stuff and donate a Goodwill or take it back to uptown cheapskate and have them reevaluate it for me. All of my items were washed and dried and folded and there are a lot of name brands in there. They just acted very unprofessional. It was very embarrassing for me. I go from Battle Creek to Grand rapids portage to Holland selling. Rudest bunch of girls that I've ever dealt with just plain snotty mean girls.
I usually always have a good experience here, whether that be shopping around or selling clothes. I went in today to drop off some clothes to potentially sell, and the girl who helped me was incredulously unwelcoming. I felt judged as soon as i stepped up to the counter to drop off my clothes. let me say once again I usually always have a good experience here! The girls who have helped me prior have been so sweet and respectful, however this interaction left quite a poor taste in my mouth. I work in retail as well, so i can absolutely empathize in that some days are better than others. But there’s no sense to have an attitude with someone who’s just trying to give you some clothes. you should not act that way while customer facing.
The staff here was really rude. I instantly felt judged as soon as I walked in. I was giving them a box of clothes and I was told it would be an hour wait around at 3:20. I waited til around 4:45 before I went back up to the counter and the girl was rude to me again saying she’s working on it. My order wasn’t done til after 5, and they only took 5 items out of a large box of considerably nice clothes. Highly disappointed and I will never come back to this location.
I tend to see some reviews where they have said they “witnessed” the buyers just opening a bag and not looking through it. I’d like to say from work and customer experience. Buyers go through a whole training process where they are made to treat every bag with respect and to go through it thoroughly. You may not be happy that they didn’t take your “new” shoes but there’s many reasons behind their decisions made. Dont take your frustration out of young girls who didn’t buy your clothes🩷 if you need money that bad just work.
