Platte River Roofing replaced our old 3-tab roof with architectural shingles in February 2024 and are more than happy with the results. John Kennedy was a pleasure to work with and went above and beyond to ensure the new roof met every one of our specifications. He was very detail-oriented, professional and provided us a very clear and easy-to-read quote and timeline. His crew was kind and professional and did a thorough clean up job at the end. The turnaround was exactly what he’d relayed to us during planning and the new roof was up in one day. UPDATE November 2023: we had another roof installed by Platte River Roofing this year on our new house after extensive hail damage occurred in April and May. It was hectic and full of delays, but John was communicative and understanding of our frustrations. He was frustrated as well, since the last and longest delay was caused by shingle supply chain issues. The job finally completed the final weekend of September and the work quality was excellent as expected. The crew was fast and did a great job cleaning up. John and Michelle were very accommodating and understanding for the next 2 months while I fought with unresponsive and unhelpful insurance to get paid out for the overages that occurred. All in all, the experience went as well as it could have given all the external frustrations. I truly appreciate John, Michelle, and their excellent crew for all they did. --------- Original review: About 2 weeks before we were set to close on the sale of our house, we were informed the roof had to be replaced or no one would insure the house. In a panic, we found Platte River Roofing and called. John met me about 90 minutes later at the house for an inspection and it took only a few seconds up there for him to know the entire roof had to be replaced. John was able to get us in the following week and not only were they fast, but the quality of work was fantastic, with the final product looking incredibly sharp. Everyone we spoke and worked with was friendly, polite, and professional. I can't thank John enough for helping us out at the last minute and ensuring we could move forward with our sale. I will absolutely use Platte River Roofing again on the new house when the need arises.
