I just want to start by saying that the daycare service here is amazing, this review has nothing to do with that. My dog has always had a great time at daycare, and that’s why I decided to try their grooming service again. Unfortunately, this time was a really disappointing and frustrating experience. I have a toy poodle and Before the appointment, I sent them an email with specific instructions and a reference photo of his previous haircut (second picture). I clearly mentioned that I didn’t want my dog’s head to be cut too short and that I wanted a toy poodle look. When I picked him up, his head was shaved way too short and the haircut didn’t even look neat, it seemed unfinished, especially around the face. There were also patches on his head and legs that were unevenly trimmed, as if they missed certain spots altogether. I had also asked for the ears and tail not to be cut too short, which they didn’t, but instead of shaping or trimming them properly, they just left them as-is, it didn't even looked brushed. What really worried me was that they told me my dog was “difficult” when they were grooming his face. This surprised me because he’s been groomed there before with no issues, and he’s also been groomed by someone else in the last few years (The only reason he couldn’t go back to her this time was because she isn’t offering grooming services right now, so I had to look for another place.) It honestly makes me wonder what happened this time that made him react that way. And even with that I'm not sure why they needed to shave his head? I did call afterward, and they mentioned I could bring him back within seven days for adjustments, but that doesn’t really help when his head has already been shaved too short, there’s nothing to fix except waiting for it to grow back. I ended up fixing his face myself, and he let me do it just fine, which says a lot. I hope this review helps other dog owners who might want a specific style or don’t want their dog shaved down completely. I’d strongly recommend finding another grooming service, even though their daycare is wonderful.

We take our hound there as much as we can. The employees are the best! Their love for the dogs is palpable and contagious. Although there is a cost, I found that the opportunity to help with my dog’s socialization was worth it for us. Getting her exercise and a chance to be a hound and follow her nose is something we can do outside anytime; however, getting her to interact with other dogs is something that is more difficult, even at dogs parks (as she just wants to smell things and ignores everything else in that context). Another perk is that you will be able to watch your pooch online anytime they’re there. It’s a nice touch for those who want to check in on their pets.

My dog Bear had an overnight stay at the Burlington location. We couldn’t be happier with his stay! This was his first time away from us. They kept us informed about how he was doing and sent pictures and report card. He was happy at pick up! Highly recommend the Burlington location!

if you are a dog owner and need a happy go spot for your dog this is the place you go to staff members are incredible and this is my first time having my puppy out to a daycare away from us and believe me when i say this we never expected such incredible accommodation and care, they genuinely care i dont want to go anywhere else. thank you dogtopia
