This is my favorite coffee shop in Tulsa. As a horse girl I love the name. It’s in the cutest building and it’s easy to get to. The atmosphere is 10/10 it’s cozy and not overstimulating. The noise level there is perfect. I never feel overwhelmed. Coffee is amazing and the baristas are hard workers and are super nice! The music choices are also great. Fun but not just mainstream pop. I’ve added some songs they have played to some playlists. Seating is great. There are so many good options.

I love this place. The true test of a good cup of coffee is a plain old house drip black coffee. I’m a believer that if it has to be doctored up, the base is no good. PonyCoffee has some of the best in Tulsa. The staff were so kind and welcoming. There is so much to see in one place with all of the odds and ends they have for decor. It is a great experience and a must see in Tulsa!

Tulsa coffee shops have toiled in mediocrity for a long time. I say that as someone who worked in specialty coffee for nearly a decade and now works as a remote content/copywriter. Shops have been either too corporate, cramped and sterile without that true "third space" feel or they've had the cozy atmosphere but with bad coffee and not enough space. I won't name names. It's obvious to me that whoever owns and opened Pony Coffee saw these problems and sought to fix them, and they totally succeeded. Pony Coffee is a complete rejection of the third-wave minimalist corporate bullshit specialty coffee has descended down over this past decade. Pony Coffee's decor is maximalist and cozy. It feels lived in. It feels like having coffee in someone's big comfy house. There are numerous rooms and comfortable spots to seek out and all of the furniture is comfortable and welcoming. On top of all that, Pony Coffee serves actual good quality specialty coffee, brewed correctly, totally dialed in, and they do it in a ridiculously unpretentious manner compared to many. The baristas let the coffee speak for itself. Pony Coffee also has a huge parking lot, which is just the cherry on top of an already immaculate experience. No fussing with parallel parking or driving around the block several times hoping somebody will leave. No downloading some city parking app and paying $2 to not get a parking ticket. And I'm not sure who is controlling the music here, but I heard Big Thief, Slaughter, Beach Dog and some other absolute bangers during my visit. This is like somebody climbed inside my head and opened a coffee shop specifically to attract me to it. Maybe I'm basic. Who cares. As the kids would say, I'm not trying to "glaze" too hard, but this review goes beyond Tulsa. I've recently been to coffee shops in New York City, Denver, London, Paris etc. They all mostly suffer from the same problems Pony Coffee solves. Pony Coffee is worth driving across town for. Fortunately, I only live 8 minutes away. I will return many, many times.

Tulsa’s best new coffee shop. Cozy. Homey. Friendly. Inviting. Everything about this place is just perfect. The coffee is the real deal, they roast it all in house and it rivals that of some of the best coffee I’ve had in Tulsa. Not burnt and bland, but full bodied and flavorful. The atmosphere is the best I’ve ever experienced in Tulsa. In an old bike shop that once seemed to be a house, with an upstairs and outdoor patio seating as well. Lots of different places to sit whether you need a desk, a meeting space for a Bible study or small group with 6-8 people, or are meeting a few friends for coffee, this place has it all. Servers very nice and kind. What a treat this place is! Will definitely be back, and often!
