Carol PearsonExpensive and service poor and unwelcoming. I chose soup, £9.50 for a bowl of vegetable broth with a few bits of chopped sliced chicken, served with part cold baguette. Also we felt a smiley face from lad behind counter might have helped and also we did not expect to have to come to the counter to order coffees and then meals.
Sam JonesToday I seen a turkey bap with stuffing, and pigs in blankets for £7.50 I thought that seemed decent. Wow was I disappointed! Like quarter of a sausage. Some cheap bap, and the thinnest slices of turkey I have ever seen. Not worth £5 let alone £7.50. very very disappointed.
Isobel DonaldWe like this place! Classy+so clean! Welcoming, warm, thoughtful staff whose aim to please is v apparent. Good food too. We have visited a few times+look forward to it. My only reason for only 4stars for food is because 3 of us dined there last week, all chose the bacon+egg dish. My plate looked as if it had been waiting a while, my bacon a bit dried up+leathery, egg overcooked, solid yolk and not piping hot. You might ask why I didn't speak up at the time, well its difficult when you're with friends. This occasion a vulnerable friend was with us. I couldn't ruin the moment+complain. Her plate+my husband's looked rather better. I ate mine anyway because I'm greedy+hate waste! To top it all my baked beans was nearly all sauce with v few beans. I did dare to mention that! We will go back because I know they can get it right+we like the place.
