Nearly two years ago, I was the victim of another person's poor decision making when I was seriously injured in an accident. I was in shock, and struggled to cope with my feelings of frustration and severe depression as I dealt with what I had endured. When you are hurt, being bombarded with bills, phone calls from providers and insurance companies, and trying to regain control of your life is a huge burden to bear. But most importantly, I was angry with the injustice I would experience as a result of someone else's careless mistake. Nothing happened to the person who hurt me- but this accident changed almost every aspect of my life.
