To change LAO lawyer, you write to their complaints dep't and get assigned a complaint officer. Know that if you at anytime complain about complaints officer to LAO which you can to same email you put in request for the change of lawyer, LAO will do absolutely nothing with your person complaint. Complaint officer at least mine last name rhymes with bar, she not update me like she said she would nor did she send off my material/evidence timely and her irresponsible behaviour led me to have to contact the Ontario Ombudsman then after the LAO president just for me to get the basic-est of updates, you may want to too. But if ask to get copy of all my material and written submissions sentoff to district office for the review, you can't see that and have no clue what get leftout from your sentoff stuff. Things get more crooked. When decision letter you eventually get if denied lawyer change request you told can appeal it but guess what?, person that wrote the rejection letter now gets to compile and send anything new to the district's office, and you demand someone with impartial eyes & feelings not the manager that served you the rejection letter, but anyone else do the compiling and sending and they won't let that happen and LAO president and none of them accommodate that. What I had happen wouldn't wish on anyone. The LAO manager misgave and undergave my solid proof showing it going to trial based on initial rejection on basis they deem not going to trial which anything but. And these cheapskates denied me unjustly, not ok what they did that's why I here to warn you all: pick your 1st and probably only LAO lawyer wisely! And reddit search others denied too these cheapskates sitting on millions of tax payers dollars and not spending as they should!! If you reading this, word of help, go to stepstojustice, there's a way if lawyer change appeal denied you still have a last ditch fighting chance to have judge appoint you a new defense lawyer, check into that if you got denied unjustly by LAO!!! If I find that link I may just update my this post. UPDATE: Can't post link here. Rather, search “amicus curiae” and stepstojustice. Then you 'Serve a Notice of Motion and Affidavit' onto LAO! Then LAO HAS TO explain to the court why they refused your application and appeal!!
