Precision Design & Build

We hired Precision to build a two-story addition onto the back of our house, about 800 sq ft total, and a deck to connect the new addition to our garage. This is the largest project we've ever undertaken and we were very nervous to spend this amount of money. In the end, we decided to put our trust in Precision and we couldn't be happier with the results or the process. The project lasted the whole spring and summer of 2024. Once it got going, I texted our point person Tyler almost every day at 7am to check in, and every day I got a response. I always knew what was happening. In a project of this size, things will always go wrong. When they did - a squirrel in the new space, some water in the crawl space, etc. - Tyler dealt with the issue quickly and never hand-waved anything. By the end of the project, unexpected issues didn't stress me out because I was confident they would be handled. At the very end of the project, when I had a long list of very tiny issues - small paint imperfections, wrong type of dimmer switch, that kind of thing - Tyler and subs kept coming back until the job was absolutely 100% done. The end result is fantastic as the pictures show. Precision and their subs work to a high standard and the new spaces are beautiful and exactly as we pictured them in the design phase. Their prices, while not "cheap", were very competitive and lower than the go-to builders that do most of the work in my town. Any premium they charge is worth it for the service they provided. I couldn't recommend them more highly.

We recently finished a full first-floor remodel with Precision Design & Build. The project included adding a mudroom and powder room, a complete kitchen renovation, moving a gas fireplace, and creating a master suite—and the end result is even better than we imagined. Marissa was wonderful to work with. She took my Pinterest boards and truly brought them to life in her designs. She suggested ideas I never would have thought of, while still staying true to the style we were hoping for. The end result feels both beautiful and uniquely “us.” Austin, our project manager, was fantastic. He kept everything on track, communicated clearly, and made sure we always felt heard and cared for. Like with any large renovation, there were a few hiccups, but Austin handled them quickly and professionally, which made the process much less stressful. We had a lot of contractors and trades in and out of the house, and Austin managed everything so it never felt chaotic. There was never a question that he had things under control. Austin is the biggest reason we can't wait to work with Precision again in the future. When it came to the investment, we really appreciated their all-inclusive pricing — we never felt like we were being surprised with extra costs or scope changes. For the amount of work completed, the value was outstanding, and the quality of the craftsmanship speaks for itself. We’re thrilled with how our home turned out and highly recommend Precision Design & Build to anyone considering a renovation.
