Customer experiences
Everything was absolutely delicious and the bartenders were amazing. I had the smoked old fashioned, fried green tomatoes, corn and crab bisque, and the crème brûlée. All which exceeded expectation. The bartenders were very knowledgeable about the menu and were very easy to talk to. Will definitely be back.
Very good dining experience and food were very flavorful. Our waiter,Toby, did an excellent job engaging with us and gave thoughtful recommendations on menu items to consider. Gumbo was very flavorful, potato salad as well. Fried shrimp was very good. The hamburger was thick and juicy. It was very nice to hear Toby being very open and sincere with his guidance and recommendations.
I’ve been coming here for the last 18 years. Although the menu has changed, the food is always good, fresh, and served piping hot. Tonight selection was Chargrilled Ousters and the Seafood Platter. Bring your “A” game, the platter has a lot if food on it. My server, Karlie did a fantastic job this evening! Keep up the great work.
I was passing through Lafayette and had always heard great things about Prejan’s. I stopped in for a late lunch. It wasn’t busy at all. It’s located just off the highway and has plenty of parking and seating. You are greeted by a big gator when you walk in. There is a bar area to the left and the big dining room to the right. It has that feel you would expect. Service was a touch slow, but is was a slow time and staff was limited. I ordered the catfish atchafalaya which is fried catfish with crawfish etouffee on rice with corn maque choux. I don’t order catfish must but I was told this dish was on point. The catfish was excellent. Crispy, flaky, and very moist. The crawfish etouffee was very good but there wasn’t much of it. The dish says it’s smothered in it. That wasn’t the case, which was disappointing because it was very tasty. I never had the corn dish. It was a little sweet for my taste. Overall, very good lunch I just wish there was more crawfish because it’s one of my favorites. I would come back again and just try the etouffee or catfish on their own.
Prejean's is a cajun restaurant.
