Jeanette was an amazing wedding planner! She is extremely helpful, caring, knowledgeable, and very organized. She ensured that our wedding ran smoothly. Even when hiccups did occur, we didn’t feel like something wasn’t going the way we planned because Jeanette had everything under control. Jeanette and her team are extremely reliable. Jeanette and her team even went above and beyond and helped us with money management for our wedding, which helped with the easy facilitation of our Nigerian wedding. Not only that, but Jeanette also helped us with coordinating with an amazing security company that helped to instill order and prevent wedding crashers from entering the wedding. I would and will recommend Social Events by J to any couple that is getting married.

I enjoyed working with Jeanette on my daughter's Sweet 16 celebration. She was attentive, responsive, and thoughtful throughout the planning process; and expertly coordinated with all our vendors to ensure that the event was executed superbly. Working with Jeanette, owner of Social Events by J, was truly a pleasant, amazing experience! She did a phenomenal job looking up vendors for my weight loss reveal party in August 2022 and her professionalism was priceless. I started working with her in January 2022 to plan a weight loss reveal party in the Bronx, NY and she stayed super professional and diligent to ensure my event was a success. Although she had a death of an immediate family member during the planning process, I was impressed and amazed that she continued to plan my event and didn’t cease her service with me. I loved how she navigated my budget and looked for vendors that fit my budget. At the last minute, a week before my event date, I wanted to have a projector at my event to show attendees a video of my before pictures and video clips, but I didn’t have the extra money to rent a projector and screen. Jeanette’s creativity saved the day and she created a QR code that people were able to scan on their cellphones so they could view the video on their phone. Her problem solving skills came in handy and I was so grateful that she resolved any issues I had and made my experience working with her super rewarding. I highly recommend utilizing Social Events by J for your next event.
