The Worst Experience and Most Unprofessional Management in Dubai I have been living in Dubai for 12 years, and I have never faced such unprofessionalism and poor management as I did with Hi Sandy. This company is run by people who clearly have no idea what they are doing, and their entire system feels like a scam designed to take money from tenants. I rented an apartment from them, and 60 days before the end of my contract I sent a clear written cancellation notice via email, confirming my check-out date. On the exact check-out day, nobody from their team contacted me—no call, no email, no WhatsApp message. According to their own policy, they are supposed to reach out to tenants for check-out arrangements, but instead, they completely ignored my communication. After three days of silence, suddenly a person named Sohaib, who calls himself a manager (God knows who gave him this title), called me and said I must pay for three extra days because I didn’t “check out on time.” He claimed the keys were still with me—of course the keys were with me, because nobody from their useless team ever came to collect them on the agreed date! I had to chase them by WhatsApp and email, and still got no response until they decided to demand money after the delay. To make things worse, another so-called manager named Dilshat called me. Instead of resolving the issue, she gave me the most unprofessional excuse I’ve ever heard: “We have 10,000 buildings and we don’t know which room is checking out.” That is not my problem. If your company cannot manage its units properly, that is proof of total mismanagement. A professional company should always notify tenants at least three days before check-out to confirm the handover. But here, it’s very clear: they purposely delay, so they can charge tenants extra and steal from deposits. And this is not only my experience. Many other tenants have also complained that Hi Sandy never returns the full security deposit—it’s part of their so-called “process.” Now I understand why: their entire system is designed to scam people. This company is a disgrace to Dubai’s rental market. Their staff is unqualified, their managers are rude, and their “policies” are nothing more than tools to rob tenants of their money. To anyone considering renting from Hi Sandy: Think twice before you fall victim to their unprofessional management and scam practices.
