My dental experience at community dental was beyond amazing. The ladies at the front desk are super nice and the office chairs were 6 feet apart for social distancing. My dentist Dr. Sanchez and his assistant Mayra made my experience even better. I dread getting x-rays and Mayra was by far the fastest with them that I have ever experienced. Dr. Sanchez went over my dental plan and I can not wait to get all of my work done in a few weeks. This dentist was a great choice and I am so happy to be a part of the community dental family ! ! ! ! !

Everyone was so nice and helpful!!!! Wish I could give them more stars. I’ve always had bad experiences at dental places but this one was different! Made me feel comfortable like I knew them for a long time. It was my first time there and I honestly can’t wait to go back! I have neglected my dentist appointments for a long time now which caused me to have a really bad tooth infection. I’m all good now thanks to Mr. Sanchez and his team.

Don’t do it. Find SOMEWHERE ELSE. I was told I needed a deep clean done. I mean, I had neglected my dentist appointments for quite some time so this was totally something I was expecting. They split it into 4 different appointments. The first appointment, they used local anesthetic and took a good 20-30 minutes on one quadrant of my mouth. The next three appointments they used a topical anesthetic and only spent about 10 minutes. I didn’t feel like my teeth were adequately cleaned. I was also told I needed a root canal done and they referred me out to someone else. I had to mail my referral in and was told to wait about a week for a call. I never got one back so I began calling them. I got a voicemail and left a message every time. I called. I never heard back from anyone. At this point, it had been 3 weeks from my initial visit so I started calling daily and different times to hopefully get to someone to set up an appointment. Nope. I was completely ignored. I called community dental back and explained the situation and they told me to just go up there and make an appointment. This was difficult for me to do since I work a full time job Monday through Friday. I asked if there was any other place they could refer me to so I could try to get in touch with ANYONE else. I was turned down. I decided to schedule my last deep clean appointment as a double appointment to clean half my mouth (two quadrants are a time). The office staff said this wasn’t an issue. When I got back to the hygienist, she said they made a mistake and only wanted to do one quadrant. I explained to her that I purposely made a double appointment to clean both at the same time and wanted them done that way to avoid missing more work. I had to insist to clean both quadrants! I feel like this upset her and she rushed through my last cleaning as fast as she could with only topical anesthetic instead of local to save time. I then decided to call and schedule an appointment with a different dental office. One week after my last deep clean I was seen by another dentist and was told it looked like no one had even touched that side of my mouth. I explained the experience I had and they told me there was no way a proper deep clean could have been achieved in 10-15 minutes. They also discovered two cavities that Community Dental had never told me about. These weren’t new cavities and could be seen on an X-ray which I had done at Community dental the previous month. They also explained that the tooth that had needed a root canal was too badly damaged now and had to be pulled. This devastated me as I tried so hard to get in contact with ANYONE to help me get this root canal done before it was too late. I know that Community Dental is a sliding scale based off your income and it might be the only thing you can afford because that was my reason for going as well. I wish I would have skipped it and went to a dentist that offered payment plans or a dental discount instead. It was a giant waste of my time and because of their negligence, I lost my whole tooth that would have otherwise been able to be restored. Also, how do you miss TWO cavities that were clearly seen on an X-Ray?! If I would have stayed with Community Dental, I would probably have needed those two teeth extracted in the near future as well! Save your time and money and go somewhere else!
