STAY AWAY FROM THIS SCHOOL It’s been a few months since I left, and after deep reflection—and hearing from former peers still stuck in the chaos—I feel compelled to speak up. My experience at this school was a nightmare compared to my previous RMT education in Alberta, which was far more professional, structured, and student-centered. This school doesn’t even belong in the same class. From the beginning, nothing was clear. I enrolled under the impression I’d be placed in an accelerated cohort. Instead, I was dropped into the middle of an existing class with no structure and no dedicated teacher, being told we’d get our own instructor “soon.” That only happened once a week, and not until over a month later. I wasn’t tested regularly—only one test took place in the entire time I was a student. When I finally pushed for some clarity on assessments, it became clear the administration wasn’t even tracking student progress properly. Even basic academic structure—like consistent testing, accessible learning materials, or communication of learning objectives—was missing. The administration was either unaware or completely dismissive of neurodivergence. Despite advocating for myself for weeks, I was not heard. I later found out that the admin staff didn’t even seem to understand what the term “neurodivergent” meant—this, at a regulated health college in 2024. It took nearly two months into the program before a meeting was even offered to discuss my needs. By then, the damage had already been done: my nervous system was fried from chronic disorganization, invalidation, and the emotional strain of trying to navigate an environment that felt like it was designed to make students fail. Since leaving, I’ve heard from other students that issues have continued—missing teachers, lack of communication, and delayed licensing confirmations. While I can’t confirm all of it personally, multiple peers have reached out describing ongoing disorganization and stress. That alone should be a red flag. This school is not safe, especially for neurodivergent learners. It is not organized, it is not transparent, and it does not reflect the standard of care expected in regulated health education. Save your time, money, and mental health. Look elsewhere.

I am currently enrolled in MOA (Medical office Assistant) course and its the first batch of this course in ICT college! Despite being their first time i believe the way Professor Lois is making us understand what exactly the whole medical terminology is , its commendable!! If you have came from a completely different field of courses in past and are looking to get your feet in healthcare sector, this course is for you! Thanks to Lois and the management team to add this course in your list and helping students to chase their goals in healthcare sector!!

It's a shame the new owner of Kikkawa seems oblivious that it was previously awesome. They reduced massage time which is odd, considering clients and therapists seemed to profit from the system. Seems it's about maximizing profit without considering the position of the users and staff. I am a client over twenty years. The therapists also seem concerned about the current state of affairs. I sense they can't complain too loudly, it might risk ending their schooling which they already invested a few thousand dollars in completing. I hope somehow they grasp how this is not a positive change. (a few months later) The new building and quality of therapists seems to have settled in. Things are more decent and enjoyable now.
