Customer experiences
I take my 11-year-old son to Bay State for physical therapy, and I must say, the experience has been great. From the moment we walk in until we leave, the staff's attentiveness and friendliness are truly remarkable. The therapists do an excellent job with my son, consistently checking in to see if we have any questions. Although it's only been a few weeks, I've already noticed improvements, and my son actually looks forward to his appointments now. I recommend Bay State for anyone in need of therapy services!
I would highly recommend this physical therapy location. This location is clean, they take you in on time (I never had to wait more than 5 minutes after check-in), very flexible with scheduling and everyone (therapists, assistants, students, front desk) are amazing. The front desk ladies are friendly, helpful and they remember your name/who you are. The Physical Therapists are the best! I had the pleasure of working with Will and Mariam. Will is very knowledgeable, helped me recover from my injury’s and sent me home with skills to finish my recovery at home. I am sad to go but thankful for all the help and skills I received to heal. Thank you!! ☺️
Update: I finished my physical this week. I started the tail end of winter this year in the water tank and finished almost at the end of September. It's important to note that I have been through physical therapy several times before going to Baystate and I experienced things there that I never experienced at any other physical therapy establishment. First of all every physical therapist has to work on two people at the same time. I have never had to share my physical therapist with another person. I feel like that takes away from the quality of the sessions. Your PT therapist will give you an exercise and then leave you to do it on your own. So, if your form is off you can do a whole set of exercises incorrectly actually causing more tension and pain. Even Rick, the nice guy who is the only person certified to operate the water tank has to work with someone in the tank while also working with someone on land. That seems like it could a safety hazard for seniors in the tank, after all it only takes a few seconds to drown. The physical therapists they have are at the top of their class. I can definitely say that every different person I worked with had their own own style yet they were all equally effective despite the challenges they face having to work on two people at a time. First Review: This is one of the only places I know of in Worcester that has an aquatic therapy tank. It is really amazing. It fills and empties with each person that uses it. There is a treadmill in it and a huge jet that can blow water at you for exercise or massage. There's a nice changing room as well as a bathroom that you can change in. They provide you towels and you don't need a hair cap. You can also wear whatever you want in the tank. They just ask that you and whatever you're wearing is clean. You don't have to shower beforehand either. There's one guy that runs the tank and he is friendly. He also plays some pretty cool music. I highly recommend Baystate for aquatic therapy and whatever other services they have. The facility there seems to be up to date and I see physical therapists working with athletes of all ages.
I really love Worcester Physical Therapy, because Patti Delage. Works really well with me and she is extremely accommodating to all of my health conditions. And she is very friendly and kind to talk too! Patti is very helpful if you have her your in Excellent care, hands. She's well experienced at her job. The receptionist are very nice as well to, they hp you schedule your appointment. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone in need for Physical therapy. Wonderful staff , Clean facilities. BEST Place to go for Physical therapy around! I think the staff gets along great with each other and awesome with patiences & clients as well. Clients/ patiences really respect they staff & workers, which is always a good thing! I think! Must Wear a Face-Mask or Face- Covering appointments only , they do check your temperature 🌡when you arrive to check in with the young woman at the front desk.
