Ross is hands down the best strength trainer I’ve ever worked with. He’s incredibly knowledgeable and always brings the most creative training routines — every session feels intentional, challenging, and genuinely fun. You never get bored because he constantly adapts the workouts and finds new ways to progress you without repeating the same old plan. What really sets Ross apart, though, is how intelligently he balances training load. He knows exactly how to push you while still training smarter — not just harder. Coming back from multiple running injuries, this was absolutely critical for me. Ross helped me rebuild strength and stability in a way that felt safe, structured, and sustainable, while still making real progress. I’ve run with Ross a few times through his run club, Progression Run Club, and it’s an awesome group with great people, a fun crew, and amazing energy. After that, I decided to book a one-on-one session with him. In our first session, we focused on band work, fixing my form, and controlled breathing. He also introduced a few movements I wasn’t familiar with, which felt challenging but really effective. I felt incredible after the session and went straight to the track for a workout. I ended up absolutely crushing it and honestly had one of the best track runs I’ve ever had. My goal is to run a sub-3 marathon this year while becoming the fittest version of myself, and with Ross, I truly believe that’s achievable. He’s a great person, extremely knowledgeable, and a top-class coach. Highly recommend him to anyone looking to improve their fitness.
I started working with Ross in August 2025 after a pretty eye opening DXA scan. For the past 4 months, Ross has guided me towards reaching my strength, fitness and overall health goals. He is technical, a good listener and very knowledgeable. I am stronger, leaner and more confident.
