I have been with CBI health on Upper James for about 2 years following a workplace injury and then again following a car accident. Not only has CBI been there for me throughout my healing journey, but over the last couple years they have become more like family. Through all the ups and downs they have stuck by me relentlessly advocating for my healing, physically, mentally and practically. I had the pleasure of working with Elizabeth (no longer at Upper James location) and she was a gem. I could tell her anything and she was always there with words of motherly wisdom. I have also been fortunate to work with Justyne, she manages to always be able to handle me on my good days and bad. She is also one heck of a Chiropractor. A poke here and a prod there and she almost instantly knows exactly what's wrong and how to fix it. Brandon is the occupational therapist and worked with me through my fears, worries, anxiety, and anything else my injuries may have led me to feel at odds with. I find his strong point is being able to listen attentively and search for obstacles and challenges in your journey that you may have not previously noticed and then provide practical solutions based on your individual needs and circumstances. Amanda the secretary is a bundle of joy and is one of the hardest working and most resilient secretaries I have ever met. She serves with compassion and genuine empathy for each individual situation. She is the face of this clinic. Even after my insurance has expired I have chosen to continue attending CBI health for chiropractic follow up as I honestly just cannot see these people as not being part of my health journey moving forward. If your pondering whether or not to make CBI Upper James part of your health journey, I would just say take the leap. You will not be disappointed.
