I will never waste another second at this store. For the third time in a row they have told me I could get a rain check on something that was on sale, made me walk back and take pictures and then told me they can't honor a rain check. That's when a manager told me to go up there and get one. This is the absolute worst Publix in this state. I've had so many issues with them over the last couple of months from trying to sell me expired meat to lying to my face about things like the rain check on sale items. I've never ever had this kind of issue at any other publix. I will be calling corporate to report them because I am absolutely fed up with being lied to over and over.

Located in Troy on 231 overall experience was good customer service experience but found many BOGO’s shelf locations without BOGO pricing notices. A kind employee stated that this gets done several days after flyer start date. Very confusing, Shelf pricing BOGO pricing should happen start of sale but routinely does not.

DO Not place an order online and expect to pick it up if it's a rather large order. I placed an order today before noon today for a 5p pickup. Shopper began shopping for my items, shopped 7 of the 15 and just quit. When I got there to pick it up and found out it wasnt ready, I messaged my shopper and she said that she accepted it by mistake and had tried to cancel it. Called inside the store and was told that the instacart shoppers aren't employed by Publix and they had no control over them. If they didn't want to shop for my items, why not call me and let me know? Bad business!!!

Publix tries to seem like heaven on earth, but it's a store like any other, and it's bogged down by the same issues. They have some great policies regarding coupons, rain checks, and customer services in general, but prices are unreasonably steep on the grounds you're paying for nicer people and cleaner facilities. There are some sweet, memorable people who always seem to be there working, and they actually make Publix feel closer to how Publix should be. However, the majority of management feels passive-aggresive and condescending at best, and they tend to be very short and rude to employees, even in front of customers. There's a lot of corporate lingo they make the cashiers and baggers say that feels nice, but service at times feels hollow and rushed, as though I'm a burden for shopping there. This just sours the experience a bit and makes it feel like they're saying whatever necessary just to part me with my dollar. Overall, the Troy location is okay-ish. I just wish the people were more genuine and less cult-ish. Everyone wishes prices were better. At least they're better than Walmart.
