Jay⭐ Concern About Predatory Towing Practices I recently visited the Publix at 2551 S Le Jeune Rd, Coral Gables, FL, and had an unfortunate experience. I parked in the lot intending to shop, briefly stepped away, and then returned to complete my shopping. Despite this, my car was towed by Whitt’s Tow Away, Inc., and I was charged $145 to retrieve it. I understand parking policies need to be enforced, but the towing practice here feels excessively aggressive, especially for legitimate customers like myself who were using the lot as intended. Publix employees even mentioned that individuals monitor the parking lot and call for towing as soon as someone steps away from their vehicle. As a loyal Publix customer, I urge management to review this policy and ensure that customers are not unfairly penalized. This experience added unnecessary stress to what should have been a simple shopping trip.
Sharon WatsonThey make me remember why i stopped shopping there. I use the one on red road now… they have the best pharmacy. But today, i called to place an easy bakery order to pick up later. No one answered the bakery Goes back to main number. I try to explain but ring bakery again before i can finish main part answers over and over but no one can get the bakery. Some one says… i will go over to the bakery. Never heard from again. 17:49 seconds on the call never reaching the bakery. I call the other store, done in 2 minutes. Was gonna be closer to the LeJeune store so i have to go out of my way thanks to their ineptitude
