. The Punjab Grill restaurant at Gaur City Mall is located on the fourth floor, not a very large space but with a comfortable, welcoming feel to it. The food, of course, is all the usual Punjabi staples, with lots of different kababs and tikkas and tandoori items (vegetarian and not), dals, curries, rotis and naans, etc. There’s a bar as well. We were here for dinner, and ordered two kababs: mutton galouti and Amritsari machhli, along with dal makhni, tawa pulao, and missi roti. The missi roti was very unusual, and by far the best missi roti I have ever had. The tawa pulao and fish were excellent too, but I found that the cloying fragrance (kewra? I couldn’t tell) in the galouti was just too overwhelming for me. Our bill came to about Rs 3400. For a meal for three (one of them a 12-year-old who doesn’t eat much), without any alcohol (or even soft drinks), and just one missi roti, that is overpriced.

Visited Punjab Grill at Gaur City Mall and enjoyed the delicious tikkas and kebabs—great taste and flavors. Service and staff were excellent. However, the prices are on the higher side, and the portion sizes felt small for the cost. Rich, high-calorie food, but still worth trying once.

The food was very good, the staff behaviour and the pan shot at the end was cherry on the cake.Akshay joshi and Rajeev Yadav who took over our orders and take care of our customer experience were very well mannered. Really good experience.

Found a hair in the veg galouti kebab—completely unacceptable for a restaurant of this standard. The biryani was bland and lacked the richness you’d expect from a premium North Indian kitchen. Service was polite but didn’t compensate for the hygiene lapse and underwhelming food. Hope they seriously revisit their kitchen practices and quality control.
