This is a long overdue review of my experience at L’ORO Sherway Gardens. I went in looking for a nice watch over a period of a few visits because I was looking for a specific piece. Throughout my visits, I interacted with Yoonhee. She was brilliant – she answered all the questions that I had, assisted me with my search and when I went to pick up my watch, she and Tai provided me with specific information about my watch. She even pampered my sons with chocolate treats! Thank you very much, Yoonhee. You gained a customer for life.

I tried to visit this store with the intention of purchasing a watch on August 25th. The doors are all locked (understandable), and despite waiting for 5+ minutes at their designated entrance and making eye contact with multiple sales associates there was no reply and we were not let into the store. At no time did anyone who worked there come to the door, indicate that they intended to come to the door, or acknowledge me as a potential customer in any way. It's a strange experience to go to the mall, cash in hand (metaphorically speaking) with intent to make a high-value purchase and to not be able to enter a store during regular business hours. After we were not acknowledged or offered the opportunity to enter the store we left and did some other shopping, and then tried again around 30 minutes later to enter the store, and had the same experience.

I’ve walked past this store countless times while shopping at Sherway, yet I never noticed its name. The entrance is a bit awkward, with no clear signage indicating the main door. Still, needing a gift, I decided to step inside. Tai was the one who assisted me—friendly, patient, and incredibly helpful. Even though it was my first time shopping at L’ORO, I’ll definitely return whenever I need a gift or something special for myself. My only suggestion? It would be great if the store carried a wider selection of brands!
