Customer experiences
Terrible Experience – Unprofessional, Misleading, and Unhygienic I’ve been going to Pure Sense Spa for over 3 years for RMT massage, but after my recent visit, I will never return — and I want to warn others before they make the same mistake I did. I saw a flyer in the spa promoting a scalp massage. I specifically asked the receptionist if the treatment was RMT and covered by insurance. She clearly told me it was $90 and covered, so I booked it based on that information. After my appointment, I asked them to charge the card they had on file — only to later discover an extra $30 “add-on” charge on my invoice. At no point was I informed about or offered any kind of add-on — let alone consented to one. Add-ons are supposed to be optional and clearly disclosed. When I called to raise my concern, I was shocked by how unprofessional and defensive the staff was. Rather than apologizing or taking responsibility, they blamed me for not reading the brochure. They were rude, dismissive, and aggressive on the phone — completely lacking any professionalism or customer service. To make matters worse, their website lists the treatment as $90, and the add-ons shown range from $5–$20. So where did the $30 come from? It feels deceptive, and frankly, dishonest. As if that wasn’t enough, the hygiene standards were unacceptable. The brush used during the treatment had strands of blonde hair on it — and I have black hair. That means they reused the brush without properly cleaning it. Absolutely disgusting. This spa has gone downhill, and I strongly advise anyone considering it to think twice. I was misled, overcharged, and treated disrespectfully when I tried to resolve it. Sadly, they’ve lost a loyal customer of three years. If you value transparency, hygiene, and basic respect, avoid Pure Sense Spa. Their response below shows exactly all the facts I mentioned above. Need more proof just read their response and their true color of how they conduct business shows. It speaks for itself :) :)
I recently had acrylic set with Lee and absolutely thrilled w the result🩷 She took her time to be sure my nails was perfectly shaped and prepped. Her attention to detail even makes the design def stunning and flawless✨The spa also is impeccably clean and relaxing with welcoming staffs. Look forward to coming back for the fill in and other services !
Beautiful space and great ambience, had a massage session that was divine. Definitely looking forward to visiting once again. This is an update to my initial visit and I must say I’m still impressed with the quality of service, Tamara(masseuse) attended to me and I honestly didn’t want her to stop. Everything about the massage session was just perfect, got the hot stone massage and head massage. I highly recommend pure sense for any spa activities.
I received an amazing service from both the pedicure and head spa! The pedicure was so relaxing I just wished the foot massage lasted a bit longer 😍 The head spa was also incredibly soothing and calming for the nerves I wished the scalp massage time was longer too 😍 The place is super clean, offers complete service, and the prices are reasonable. Thank you for such a wonderful experience 🌸
