Customer experiences
Went to Puro tonight with a group of 21 to celebrate my daughter’s birthday and wow, what can I say! This was a huge order for the chefs to do in one go, yet all 6 dishes that all of us received were divine, beautifully cooked, beautifully presented, and the expertise that went into each component was nothing short of artistic mastery. The textures, flavours, colours, smells, heaven on the senses. The amount of prep, work and detail in each item left me in awe. Then there was the service which was wonderful, attention to detail and announcing the dishes, offering top ups for our drinks etc without being overbearing. What an incredible little place, massive well done and a huge thank you to Tommy and the team!
Exquisite Experience and food lives here. Menu was a valentine menu which might be different from the norms. As a gourmet, I cannot fault all of the food and service that was served to me during my time here. Traveled 1hr30min to dine here and I wasn’t disappointed at all. I shall be back and I deeply recommend.
Lovely meal and service at PURO. A small and stylish restaurant, with friendly and attentive service. My wife is Coeliac and needs to eat Gluten Free and we had immediate confidence from communication around booking, then in the menu and order process. Clear demonstration of creating a safe and rarely for a Coeliac a really pleasurable dining experience. Being confident, then having exceptional alternatives and adaptation is something that many can learn from. We both enjoyed a 3 course set menu, and I also had a paired wine flight which was fantastic value at an additional £20. All in all, with drinks it was around £90 a head but you get high quality ingredients and in full credit to the kitchen, thoughtfully put together dishes with amazing textures and flavours. All in all, a real gem of a restaurant and a great team. Thanks 🙏🏻
This was one of the best meals we have ever had. It was a birthday treat for my wife, and she was very happy with all that was consumed. The service was excellent and the nice touch of the chef who came and presented the dish was a fantastic addition. We have eaten at Tom Kerridges "hand of flowers" and I thought this meal was far superior. This is my 1st time leaving a review, so maybe that's a testament of how much we loved the food. I had the Mackeral starter, followed by the duck and finished with the cheese and carrot jam crumpet. My wife had the pork belly starter, roasted vension, and the fig, blackcurrant and mascarpone pudding. The pricing was on par with the service and quality of the meals served. On another note, make sure if its a birthday treat say when you book. We didn't, because many times before no surprise came. And this time the four tables around us had an extra surprise. Shame, but this just shows that extra touch. We will definitely returning, good job Puro.
