I had the worst experience at this hotel at first I was on the fourth floor and when I was sleeping, I rolled over in the entire bed, fell on top of me when I went down there to tell them about what happened. He sent the maintenance guy up to the room and he said that the bedframe was broke. That’s how the bed ended up slipping over I proceeded to ask him for the manager‘s name and the manager‘s contact information. He did not know the manager‘s name and the only thing that he gave me for the manager‘s name is the letter L I asked him for a last name he said he doesn’t have that, but I can speak to him once you get here once the manager arrived the manager had a disgusting attitude after speaking to my mother about what happened. She told me that I would need to get the insurance company name and contact information so we can give it to the attorney. The manager proceeded to tell me that there is no insurance on the building because the owners are new. The manager told the guy at the front desk to write up an incident report. He proceeded to start writing an incident report with pen and paper and then I asked him for a copy of the incident report and he told me that I need to go get my ID so I proceed to go get my ID brought it downstairs and he typed up an incident report in the incident report he said that accommodations was made for the mistake on the room. That’s a lie accommodations was not made, but I will be taking it further with a lawsuit because it most definitely negligence because the bed frame of the bed was broken. They moved me to a different room and the ceiling has water damage. There’s a hole in the wall and when I asked to get switched to a different room, they told me that they don’t have any rooms available. I asked him where can I get a refund? They told me no I’m past the refund time so this hotel at your own risk but they are under new management and they’re not gonna be the days in anymore they’re going to be the comfort Inn hopefully with the name change you get better Services we will see.

If I could give this place negative stars I would. This place is an absolute scam and trash heap. No wifi, direct TV was broken half the time, no breakfast/food, all vending machines unplugged and unusable, and these were all listed as things they had. The whole place smelled absolutely foul. Every floor and every hall Let's talk room. The only clean thing were the sheets (hopefully). The fridge had mold in it, a lot, the carpet looked like it hadn't been cleaned in years. The bathroom was gross, pubes still all over in the shower like it wasn't cleaned. The bathroom looked to be in the middle of a "landlord special" remodel. Half the light fixtures were ripped out yet the boxes and switched still remained in the wall. The cloth headboard for my bed was disgusting stained in food and God knows what else. The house keeping never gave us a do not disturb sign so our first morning we awoke to the staff who tried to get into our room not once, but 3x even tho it was locked and this was around 930 am. Honestly I wasn't expecting 5 stars but for the price of this "hotel" it was terrible. Let's not forget to mention in the close to a week we were there 3 cars got broken into and one night we came back at 1am and one of the employees had their music blaring in their car outside parked up against the hotel.

If you want to take someone to a place and sl*t them out, this is definitely the place for you. But if you are trying to find a decent place to stay go somewhere else other than Calumet Park. Going to the room, there was a big hole in the wall because the door letting you into the room has no door stop. So the handle of the door inside the room made a big dent. The carpet leading to the room was just outright nasty. Inside the room was just disgusting. It was so disgusting that I checked out of the room 5 hours after checking in. Yes I blew 150 bucks on this room and it is a lesson learned. But I hope anyone reading this will take what I'm saying to heart and avoid this place at all costs, unless like I said, you are sl*tting someone out

We arrived from Michigan to attend the Taste of Chicago. Soon as we pulled up, I immediately wanted to leave, the area and building looks horrible 😫.. but my man checks us in, They had us prak all the way around the corner of the building(weird) and only the front door works🥴 all the other doors were out of operation, this hotel is extremely outdated with dirty carpet and furniture. Its probably the same since the first day they ever opened 😑 We gets to our room, It looked unclean, old and raggedy. My Man checks the mattress and finds bed bugs! We got refunded and left immediately! Don't stay here!! It's false advertising, also on the website it's says they have breakfast, they don't! The whole building needs to go in the closest dumpster!!! The absolute worst hotel ever!!
