Cannot fault this surgery at all. From the reception staff to the GP’s, they’ve all been so helpful and kind. Everything has been sorted quickly for my grandpa and I couldn’t ask for any more. So grateful for all their help.
Note: this is a limited review as not met the doctor yet. I have met the nurse and she was wonderful, went above and beyond. Now the negatives:- 1) receptionists, as with many GP surgeries they have elevated themselves to God's right hand man, very hard to get past , asking private and inappropriate questions. 2) Dispensary, they seem to have elevated themselves to God's left hand man, only answering the ringer when it suits themselves (even during their "open" hours they frequently have the blinds drawn down). In summary:- nurse you are a star, thank you. Doctor can't make judgement yet. Rest of staff "could try harder" as school reports used to say.
It’s lucky one star is compulsory. Tried to book an appointment, rang up three times, yet no one explained that I was simply just going to get a message at the end of the day saying I need to book another appointment. I waited all day, finished work early for this appointment yet never received anything but the GP deciding (from the notes the reception took) that my enlarging lump was not worthy of seeing, despite the ‘appointment’ being booked almost a week in advance. I will never use this surgery again even if i am dying. Look elsewhere or go private! Reception department is incompetent and misleading so I dread to think what the GP is like. If you care about your health and well being then stay away from this place because it’s not reciprocated. I strongly believe that the only good reviews on here are fake accounts trying to portray that this place is worthy of your time and yet it’s still only got 2 stars! Disgusting practice, waste of time. If incompetent health care professionals is what you desire then this is the place for you! Addendum June 2024- I suppose 1 good review out of 28 isn’t so bad when it comes to your health…
