I recently engaged the services of Decor Illusions to transform my home, and I am absolutely thrilled with the results. Worst experience with Home Illusions. Initially promised for 2.5 months and took 5.5 months, and that too work was not complete. We had to move in with incomplete work. And by the way, work is not complete till date (8 months and counting) 1. **Poor quality of material:** All wardrobe doors taller than 3 ft have a bend within 2 months of fitting. Wardrobe door bend even before the fitting :) 2. ** Poor carpenter experience**: Their carpenter focus on what looks fine from outside. They spoil the boards, poor cuttinngs, poor finish. And when you ask why this is poorly done - standard response is "Sir ye dikhai thodi na dega" :D Attached pictures says it all. Carpenter has no clue how to assemble sliding doors. Luckily, I had only one sliding wardrobe and I had to replace doors for the wardrobe myself. 3. ** Poor basic carpenting knowledge** - If laminate is not properly pasted on board, their great carpenters paste another laminate on badly pasted high gloss laminate instead of removing of old laminate. Result - Puffed laminates and they spoilt my study table paneling. Need to get it done again. 4. **Poor action time** - They order a laminate or any other material, and it is delivered in record time of one month :) 5. **Fooling customers on pricing** - Royale touch laminates which have MRP on website, they quote you 1.5x prices. Kitchen tandem baskets with MRP of 5K will be quoted at 10K each. There are numerous such instances. Do your research before agreeing on the prices. 6. ** Faking during quote to get contract ** - God know how they decide to charge at running ft or SFT. Simple Mandir door frame (in which I got glass fitted myself) was quoted at 20K and charged 75K. Wooh! Beware of them. The glass work quote given by their vendor was 2X more than the amount I spent by hiring my own glass vendor, and with superior quality. Contract with them on your own risk. Be ready to spend over and above of your own after making them full payment. These guys are not trustworthy.
