Hotel needs outside updating/painting. Room was nice size and clean. Bed is comfortable. Guy at front desk was nice and accommodating with request of first floor. Great shower pressure. Bath tub has a little chunk out of the side. There's little marks and nicks on wall, door,mirror and chair not anything dangerous you can just tell the wear and tear. I do think its a little overpriced but its also busy weekend in okaboji. Would compare to Super 8 if that helps. I wouldn't have an issue staying here again

I got in our room and saw a bug upside down on the table. I told my mom, and she identified it as a GERMAN COCKROACH. And we all know isf we see one cockroach, there is many more. We put it in a cup. She called the front desk and they ADMITTED that they had roaches and had sprayed for them a month ago. Manager calmly gave us a refund. This is still nasty. DO NOT STAY HERE

DO NOT BOOK HERE! There were holes in the shower, stains on all of the bedding, I was told housekeeping was off for the weekend, the furniture and bedding had holes, and an adjoining room was complaining about bugs. I spoke with the manager and let him know I was uncomfortable staying there and requested a refund and he screamed at me. He called me greedy and refused to refund my stay. I was traveling for a funeral and exhausted upon arrival. I paid and still chose to leave the room and stay at the Reston Inn due to being uncomfortable and fear of retaliation from the manager.

BUGS! immediately found a cockroach on the table when we checked in to Room 225. Called the front desk. He offered to switch rooms but we weren’t comfortable with that. Went down to front desk & showed him the roach and said I wanted a refund which he said he did. They know!!!
