Customer experiences
The Zia pizza was unique, but a bit burnt for my taste and crust-focused. The staff was super friendly and I always enjoy people watching at the food hall. Be sure to go when there is live music at the taproom!
I just returned from Italy and the traditional style pizza are true to their word. If I could rate each dish individually I would give the margarita pizza a 5 and the Hawaii 505 a 3. The traditional menu is excellent. If the vendor would only pay the same respect to the New Mexico culture I’d give it 5 stars. The “hatch green chili” appeared to be frozen chili or canned and not anywhere near New Mexico style. The chili wasn’t drained and resulted in a wet dough on the pizza. Overall the 5 star and 3 star balance to 4.
First time trying this place out. I had heard good things and I was not disappointed! Staff was super friendly and helpful with their rather large menu. I got the meatball pizza and it was delicious. The lady at the counter informed me that they make their own cheese everyday and it was hands down the best mozzarella I've ever had. I will definitely be coming back.
This location of Amore Neapolitan Pizzeria is in Tin Can Alley. It was a nice surprise, given I don’t usually enjoy mess hall-type locales (think Sawmill) because the quality isn’t great. I got the Sausage & Shroom pizza, which usually has S-A BBQ sausage, fresh mushroom, house-made mozzarella, Pecorino Romano, basil, and olio. I subbed the cheeses for their vegan cheese, and it was great! I wouldn’t have known it was a vegan cheese substitute, and the pizza was appetizing. I got bruschetta for the group and it was a refreshing finger food to share. I’d get it again.
