I have been a loyal customer of Rayburn for over two years, consistently adhering to their pre-payment policy without issue. Recently, there was an unexpected breach in this usual process when Rayburn delivered goods prior to payment. While the mistake was on their end, the situation was handled poorly by their staff. Immediately following the delivery, I received a call from a staff member who was not only rude but also unprofessionally accusatory, insisting on immediate payment in a manner that was both aggressive and unwarranted. Despite the abrupt and inconvenient demand, I managed to secure payment swiftly to resolve the matter promptly. Seeking to avoid future discomfort, I approached the management to discuss setting up a credit account, hoping it would streamline future transactions and limit direct interaction with discourteous staff members. Disappointingly, the manager not only dismissed my concerns but also inaccurately accused me of rudeness, ultimately denying my request for a credit account. I strongly believe the manager should have offered me a credit application to streamline the process so that these unwanted situations won't happen. Instead, the manager behaved in a very nepotistic way and, rather than restructuring to enhance the customer experience, chose to refuse even the offer to file for an application. This experience has starkly contrasted with the professional and respectful business conduct I had come to associate with Rayburn. It is regrettable that the management did not take this opportunity to address and rectify the evident issues within their team, choosing instead to place unwarranted blame on a longstanding customer. This incident reflects a concerning disregard for customer service and satisfaction, fading away my good experiences of Rayburn. I am very disappointed with the management and the manager himself. I hope that by sharing my experience, Rayburn may be encouraged to take a closer look at their customer service practices and the conduct of their staff to ensure that other customers do not have to endure similar treatment.
