From our very first conversation to post-wedding chats, Reagan and her team have gone above and beyond to foster authentic and meaningful client relationships that make them a true stand-out in the event planning industry. We had the opportunity to work with her to plan our 2022 destination wedding and in a post-pandemic recovery year where the wedding industry saw its biggest boom in decades, she and her team made us feel like we were her only clients, dedicating endless hours to making sure every last detail of our weekend was perfect. We had big dreams and some lofty goals with the design of our spaces, and Reagan went above and beyond to accommodate all requests and exceed every expectation, making no request too large to bring to life or too small to make unique and special. To bring our visions of a reception tent that felt like an extension of a home to life, she even took the time to spend her free weekends scouring antique shops and specialty stores to find *just* the right decor pieces, making each space of our reception tent feel like perfectly curated vignettes out of an interior design book. We were blown away by her and her selected vendor team's diligent work to truly create the weekend of our dreams! Reagan was pure positivity, gracious and the true definition of southern hospitality at every step of the way. We're grateful we chose Reagan Events for our wedding weekend and look forward to the next time we can work with her on other special life events (big birthdays, retirement parties, etc.), or just drop by for a drink next time we're visiting Charleston. Reagan was absolutely perfect to work with. She handled every detail of our wedding with confidence, kindness, and professionalism, and I felt completely comfortable with her from the moment we first talked on the phone! I truly believe that we would not have made it through the planning or the wedding weekend without her! With every detail of the wedding, she was on the ball and ahead of the game. She coordinated with vendors, created schedules and spreadsheets, and always had an answer to every question we could've asked--often before we knew to ask it! She was such a dream to work with that my mother-in-law also hired her to help with the rehearsal dinner, and the weekend flowed so beautifully all the way through. I was living in a different state from our wedding venue at the time of planning, and Reagan handled everything so well that I never felt nervous or worried or stressed about any detail of the planning. She was always professional, always kind, always calm (and calming!), and I don't think I would ever want to plan an event without her after this experience. I cannot thank Reagan enough for making our wedding a night that we will treasure always.
Simply put, we could not have picked a better partner to plan our wedding. After asking for referrals and researching on every wedding website and publication, I interviewed 5 planners. The decision felt overwhelming. Reagan’s attention to detail, eye for design, professionalism, and warm personality made me feel confident that she could bring my dreams to reality. She delivered in every sense of the word. She really took the time to understand my vision and turn them into beautiful designs, not trying to make our wedding fit into the trends of the day. She was always very responsive when I had questions or feedback, and I felt like I had her undivided attention when we were together. She was organized and on top of all the details so that I could focus on the things that mattered most to me. She respected our budget and got creative with how to make everything work within it. When a hurricane the week before and rain on the day of the wedding threatened to derail my dreams of an outdoor event, her calm demeanor(and backup plans) made all the difference. Also, I just really enjoyed our conversations and all the time we spent together during the planning process. Any good planner can make a pretty tablescape and manage vendors, but it takes a lot more than that to make sure the experience is flawless for the couple, family, and all the guests. The day of the wedding, I had the most overwhelming sense of calm because I knew Reagan had every detail under control. We got to focus on each other and having the best night of our lives with all the people we love-it was the best gift we could have received. Without hesitation, I would recommend Events by Reagan to any couple.
My husband and I began working with Reagan in April of 2021 for our wedding in October of 2022. We were getting married in South Carolina and wanted to combine our Detroit/New York vibe with Palmetto Bluff's southern charm. From our very first kickoff call, it was clear that Reagan understood our direction, even when we weren't sure how to articulate our vision. She was able to compliment the Spanish-moss-covered trees and greenery, with cements, metals, and ceramics that felt natural in the location. It was moody and magical, with an incredible after party in a speakeasy wine cellar. Our wedding was a 4 day event with 220+ people. Every space was designed perfectly, and the logistics were managed smoothly. She developed relationships with each vendor with ease, and we felt confident in her ability to advocate for us across all avenues. Aside from admiring Reagan and her team for their talent, poise, professionalism, creativity (the list could go on..) we also adore her as a person and can only hope there are more extravagant events together in our future.
