We hired Real Canadian Electric for an extensive project in our home. We added pot lights and smart home light switches to the entire house, plus many complicated light fixtures! Something I really valued that I didn’t find with other companies is that Terin took the time to help us decide and plan where to position the pot lights and what smart changes we could make to optimize our house. He gave us total freedom to make the decisions but provided such valuable insight as a professional who has done a lot of work in this field. We know he does high quality work with integrity and expertise. They communicate well and really took good care of our house during the project. They always cleaned up well and did the work on time. A couple years ago we had Terin over to repair an outdoor plug after I found him on Homestars. He did such a great job and he's so pleasant to work with from quote to completion of work we called him back this month to install some pendant lights in the house where the ceilings are vaulted and in the open stairwell. I did not bother getting quotes from anywhere else because I knew he would do it better faster for less He listened to all of my wants and provided some valuable input on what was possible. He's very experienced and was able to do he work without scaffolding for my particular staircase, he made it so I can reach the light to change the bulbs myself later on. He took the time to explain my electrical panel to me, and even threw in free bulbs so my light levels matched in the living room to what I already had in the dining room. He took away my old lighting fixtures so I wouldn't have to deal with disposal and even offered to take some spare unused lighting to the habitat for humanity restore. So nice! But wait there is more :) While he was here doing the work, my husband asked about the possibility of getting ventilation and an outlet installed that we could use to ventilate room where a 3D printer is going to go, e took the time to assess the watt/voltages if everything getting plugged in there, discussed options and his quote was so reasonable and we went ahead with that too. They did it the same day! installed the outlet so it's on its own breaker, the ventilation fan, new light/fan switches in the room and cut through to outside and installed the vent & cover outside. Terin and his assistant worked so hard (sorry I couldn't remember his name!) they left my place cleaner than when they got here.. and then Terin surprised me at the end of the day by waiving the initial call out fee for his quotes and time ahead of doing the work, saving me even more money. Great guys, and Terin will forever be our electrician!

You ever have a home Reno go sideways? We did, previous owners did some stupid home electrical themselves and we found it in the middle of a large window install and we needed a certified electrician fast. The previous owners had cut the wiring to allow for a larger window, spliced in a longer piece and stuffed the splice back in the wall!!! Terin rewired, added proper boxes and we got two extra plugins!! Thank you so much Terin Kerr and Real Canadian Electric Ltd. They came as soon as they could, which was fast, rewired to code, improved the system and left us in far better shape! Great response even greater service, and reasonably priced!! Thank you Terin!
