Customer experiences
I’m extremely disappointed with the quality of the produce I recently purchased. It was clearly spoiled — soft, moldy, and with a foul smell. It’s disgusting that this is being sold to customers. This isn’t just about poor quality; it’s a health risk. People can get seriously sick from eating bad produce. It’s unacceptable and needs to be addressed immediately. I won’t be coming back unless things change.
The carelessness of the curb side pickup staff has reached a new level of low. I picked up my order here at 5pm and the guy bringing it out to me literally did not say a word, didn’t confirm it was the correct person. He proceeded to throw the boxes in my car breaking open my milk to which it is now soaked into my trunk. I will be contacting the store directly to handle this as my vehicle should not be damaged by your staff's careless behavior.
I recently visited the grocery store after its renovation and I’m very impressed with the improvements. The entire space is now extremely clean and well-organized. Signage throughout the store is clear and easy to read, making it much easier to find what you need quickly. Shelves are fully stocked and neatly arranged, which adds to the overall pleasant shopping experience. The renovation has definitely made a positive difference, it’s now a more inviting and efficient place to shop.
Dear Superstore Team, I visited Superstore today and was in a bit of a hurry, so I chose to use the self-checkout for the first time. While I appreciate the convenience, I encountered a few issues that I think could be improved: When scanning bananas, the system prompted me to "ask for help." I tapped the "Ask for Help" button on the screen, but it seemed that no staff received a notification. Eventually, I had to call out to a staff member myself. There was no barcode on the bananas, and a staff member had to verbally tell me a set of numbers to input manually. I found this surprising, as I rarely encounter this at other supermarkets. After I scanned all my items, the system still said that something hadn’t been scanned. I again asked for assistance, and the staff helped by operating the terminal for a while. I'm still not sure what caused the issue, which was a bit confusing. I just wanted to share this feedback in hopes that it might help improve the self-checkout experience for future visits. That said, I’m really happy I got a huge watermelon at a super low price today — thank you for that! 😊 Have a great weekend!
