I felt undue pressure from this broker during the application process. The salesperson told me to apply ASAP because the apartment would likely be gone, yet I was approved only a few days later. This felt suspicious to me. After reviewing additional information about the apartment, I asked to withdraw my application. They refused to refund the holding fee, which was equal to one month's rent, citing their policy. While their actions may be technically legal, the policy regarding the non-refundable fee felt exploitative to me. In my opinion, this is a questionable business practice. Be careful if you have to deal with this broker.
