I have liked Epic, since my daughter started in 2022. Of course I had to change my daughter's previous teacher, due to they weren't doing their jobs right. Her teacher now has gone over and beyond to making sure we got the services my daughter needed. She also was my other children's 4th grade teacher in public school. I hope they keep her, because she is one that truly cares and loves teaching.

I thought Epic was good until in part of the lessons they wanted to bring religion into it, if they are going to do that then they need to do it correctly. To state God raped Mary and that she didn't want a baby is completely wrong. It needs to be changed or taken out completely. Why they would put that in their instruction of what they are teaching students in Oklahoma where this is the middle of the Bible belt. If they would to continue teaching this then they should really be looked into. It was great up til that moment

12 years. 12 years I used Epic for my kids schooling. Let me tell you, they have their ups and downs in being a school. My 4 kids started school in Epic June 2013, kindergarten, 1st, 3rd and 4th grades . They didnt have a rough time in the Christian school they attended for the 4 years prior. It just wasn't a good fit for them. And the reason I didnt want them in a brick and mortor school is because of the kids these days just suck. I didnt want them drinking, druggies, cussing little brats, so I kept them at home. I was scared to death to school them at home. My husband came home one day and said someone close to him told him that I , me, couldn't do it, "she can't school them, they will drop out and fail if they dont go to the Christian school at our church." Guess what?! All 4 of my kids graduated as of 2025. We went to every homeschooling event we could find, every museum in Oklahoma and some in north Texas, we went on vacation without worrying about missed school days or "public school funding missing days crap", we took school work everywhere! We done it at the park, at the zoo, in the car, at grandparents home and more! If you just can't see you homeschooling thru Epic and are scared, just do it anyway! My 22 and 21 year old graduated early in 2020 (16 and 17 years old) and my last 2 graduated 2025 (16 and 18 years old) Epic Charter school helped us get thru the past 12 years. They had some ups and downs in the news, had to change some admin and blah blah blah, but all my kids graduated because someone had a vision 13 to 14 years ago when the school started. I mean when we enrolled there was like 2500 kids. Now there's like 20,000 plus kids.
