Absolute nightmare. I'm a disabled veteran that hired him and gave him the full price of what he wanted to move me and my wife from Texas to the east coast. For the amount I paid he really took advantage of me being a disabled vet and my wife with her back issues as well. First, he had a helper he was suppose to bring with him on the trip. Oh, where's the helper? He says, he wasn't able to leave the state. He's on probation. So he pulls up over 6 hours late and tells me this. Then picks a guy in the parki g lot of the apartment complex and offers to pay him to help us move. I don't know this neighbor and he chooses a man to help us move. Here I am with 7 herniated discs having to help the guy I hired who is Mr. Reither after he assured me he was bringing his helper and then shows up and says he wasn't able to even find helpers up here. That's a lie. There's a lot of helpers he could've reached out to and he didn't. He wanted to make as much money as he could off of me and my wife with us carrying the stuff and a guy helping us that he found in the parking lot. Then he literally side swipes my wife's car and breaks a piece off of her left wheel well and he hands it to me and says, was it already like this? You got to be kidding me. Then tells me he'll get a part replacement for us. Well he never did and lied. Then while I'm moving the bulk of this stuff with a neighbor I don't know Mr. Reither is taking multiple cigarette breaks every 20 to 30 minutes and propping his legs up in his truck and saying he is a diabetic and hasn't eaten and thinks he has neuropathy in his legs. Offered to get him some food and he says, no I'm good. Had about 15 or 18 energy drinks and have to leave here right away to go to Tennessee. Messed up my wife's brand new desk and the motor connected to it so it doesn't work well, scratched furniture, etc. Of course the scratches may have been less had he wrapped the furniture before the move but I come down and he's wrapping it in his trailer and now bringing it up to my apartment. Too late by then. Carrying the stuff up a flight of stairs. He says, oh there's stairs. I already told him there would be. Then he demands the rest of his money which I understand. Yet doesn't offer to knock some off the total since I had to move the majority of it with my new neighbor and my wife while he took cigarette breaks and would just stand in the trailer at times removing straps. Then he just says to me when he leaves, Sorry you had to do all that moving, etc. What a joke! If you are handicapped, want your stuff damaged, and be lied to and ripped then Mr Reither is the man to hire. I for one will never forget how he did me and my wife wrong and didn't even try to make it right. Don't hire him! And these reviews he has I'm really doubting they are legit because any man as him who claims to be doing this for 17 years or so should know better and be more ethical. Do yourself a favor and go elsewhere!
