A few years ago, Remodel Construction Co did a fantastic job on my backyard deck which included breaking down an exterior wall. Naturally when it was time to construct a front porch, they were the only ones I called. Living in a little bungalow the more you can do to extend the outdoor space (similar to the backyard deck) really makes a difference in the living area of a relatively small home. In addition the old aluminium door overhang has been something I’ve always wanted to change. Chris helped with everything on making this dream into a reality. From the design phase to the permits, to the construction up to and including the littlest fixtures, Chris was there. His team were, as usual, friendly respectful and polite - and even more all experts in their trade. Chris was great at keeping me apprised of every step of the project, allowing me to make tweaks here and there if needed. He also suggested materials that really made the project look great while staying within budget. I highly recommend Remodel Construction Co - a great company, a terrific team and wonderful owner! After having our kitchen and dining room floors replaced, we contracted Chris Clarke of Remodel Construction Co. to materialize our design plan for the kitchen area which included the removal of a wall, cabinetmaking (via Tom Werken), installing a peninsula and new cabinetry, a lot of electrical work and painting. Chris’ team was very mindful and proactive in eliminating construction dust and debris via expertly installed plastic sheeting to seal off rooms, furniture, windows coverings, vents, existing kitchen cabinets, as well as expertly installed floor protection. The experience with Chris’ team was more than satisfactory from beginning to end. They handled every unforeseen obstacle that arose with creative and practical solutions, and kept us in the loop at all times. Chris is excellent in maintaining communication and very easy to interact with. His team of tradesmen were all very efficient, tidy, knowledgeable and skillful, as well as being very pleasant individuals. Cudos to Tom, Cameron, Tim, Dexter, electrician Richard, Marty and Serge. Chris and his team have done two major house renovations for us in the past 4 years (replacing floors, knocking out a wall, and 2 bathroom renos) and that was the reason we hired them again to completely overhaul our kitchen. Once again we benefited from Chris’s professionalism and attention to detail in the planning and choice of materials.
